October 22 - 24, 2021
Texas Woman's University
The NACWPI 2021 National Conference will be held October 22-24, 2021, on the campus of Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. The City of Denton is conveniently located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
To accommodate all participants, this Conference is now being offered in a hybrid format. Those who still wish to perform, present, and participate in-person will be welcomed to the TWU campus as originally planned. Virtual performance, presentation, and viewing options will also be available for all others.
We have created a website specifically for our 2021 Conference! https://finch-cube-nr6d.squarespace.com/. It contains links for all performances and presentations, uploaded materials, and a friendly user interface to access the schedule.
We are so excited to be able to welcome participants to the 2021 Conference both in-person and virtually! Virtual presentations and performances will be shared via either YouTube Premiere or Zoom. We have also set up rooms on campus so that live attendees can enjoy the virtual component. Live performances taking place in Margo Jones Performance Hall will be streamed through YouTube. Performances in Eberly Hall will be accessible via Zoom. All links will be available through the conference website. To adhere with copyright laws, videos will not remain posted after they have been aired.

Both conference hotels, Fairfield Inn & Suites Denton and Embassy Suites Convention Center, are located less than 3 miles from the university. You can find out more information about getting around Denton on the Denton County Transportation Authority website: https://www.dcta.net/. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are also available.
Guest/Visitor Event Passes
Event passes for guests may be purchased at the registration booth at a cost $8.00 per day (cash or check accepted). A discounted student rate of $5.00 is available for those individuals possessing a student/graduate student ID from any institution. Event passes grant the holder access to all performances and presentations for the entirety of the day.
There will be practice rooms and rehearsal spaces available during the conference. We have created a SignupGenius to request rehearsal space times in larger rooms. Each space will be equipped with a piano and is large enough for a chamber ensemble. We have scheduled 10 minutes of air out time between each rehearsal and will provide sanitization materials and air filters. The SignupGenius can be accessed here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090F48AAAD28A1F49-nacwpi
